Knowledge and Religion(caution: may die of boredom)

They say science is the opposite of religion that the two doesn't match because of conflicting beliefs. Science deals with facts and Religion deals with faith. Polar opposites but in my opinion share the same goal. Religion involves rituals to reach "God". Science tries to reveal every thing about anything around us. It tries to gain omniscience, the ability to know everything. Religion says "God is the only one who knows everything". Religion is contented on knowing that and just settles for miracles to happen. Science however tries to explain everything. But why? In my opinion, we want to gain knowledge to become closer to "God" since God knows everything. The same is true for religion. We try to become closer to him by praising him, doing rituals. In these manner, science and religion have relatively the same goals. However, very small differences appear to seperate them. Religion is content in knowing that we are in the same likeness as God. Science, however tries to help us quench our thirst, the thirst to beat everything around us. Science argues that if we are in the same likeness as "God", why can't we be like him. The true goal of science in my opinion is to bring us closer to "God" in terms of knowledge. To be in the same league as him or to even surpass him is our true goal in creating science no matter how we try to hide it.

I hate emo. Uhmmm let me rephrase that. I hate posers who try hard to be emo. Those persons that let their hair grow long in the front but almost bald in the back. Those persons who their hair red. Those that wear those tight fitted shirts and pants. Those that try to slit their wrist for nothing. Those posers. Everyone in the Philippines is emo now, well at least they try to be. If you ask s so called emo person what bands he listens to he'd say kamikazee(punk), callalily, hale and spongecola(pogi rock), and cueshe(pa-pogi rock). Panginis amp. I don't get why people want to be emo. Maybe it's just a fad. Everyone wants to be a rocker(rakista). Well I can tell the difference in a way. A true one would never go with a fad, he just goes with what he wants to do. A fake always tries to imitate others. A true one does not care what other people think of what he is, much like an old man. A fake one always tries to be in with the crowd. Now which one are you? Me? I'm a rapper yoyoyoyehyehyeh bonnel :) Pakatotoo na kayo mga poserboy!!!!

Ironies

-A man with someone or something to protect is always stronger than a man who has nothing to hold on to but he always holds back not in fear of losing to his enemies but in fear of losing the very thing he tries to protect when he releases his demons inside

-We show confidence but others see arrogance, We show leadership but others see dictatorship.
